Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Knowledge Manager to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Develops, maintains, and evolves an environment conducive to knowledge sharing.

  • Initiates dialogue with stakeholders to collect, document, and disseminate knowledge related to the program's objectives, processes, and outcomes.

  • Researches internal and external data sources to uncover relevant information that supports the program’s goals and customer mission that can be incorporated into the knowledge repository.

  • Assists in creating new knowledge assets such as case studies, best practices documents, lessons learned reports, and other collateral materials. Ensures content is edited for consistency with project standards.

  • Continuously updates knowledge assets throughout the program life cycle to ensure they remain current and relevant.

  • Gathers information from end users to determine how to continuously improve knowledge repository and better meet customer needs.

  • Links knowledge assets to other publicly available information to ensure alignment with industry best practices.

  • Enters data into the knowledge management system and conducts searches to match existing knowledge with ongoing needs within the program.

  • Analyzes evolving data trends within the program and allocates time effectively towards high-demand tasks that support strategic objectives.

  • Champions the use of Knowledge Management (KM) tools within the program team, promoting their benefits across stakeholders involved in the specific program.

  • Recommends improved methods for creating materials, sharing knowledge, and enhancing KM processes.

  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field

  • 7+ years years of related work experience

  • Experience working with database systems

  • Effective organizational, planning, and time management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong editing skills in grammar, punctuation, sentence structure; experience editing technical documents preferred

  • Ability to synthesize disparate data from multiple sources into coherent KM documents

  • Ability to work independently while responding promptly to requests for information

  • Familiarity with contract documents is advantageous

  • Adaptability in a dynamic work environment; ability to manage changing priorities effectively

  • Strong deadline management capabilities Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse personalities within a team setting Proficient using software such as Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), SharePoint, MS Teams; experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is beneficial

Salary Range:

$70,500.00 - $168,700.00
