Job Description
We are in search of part time and full time Kitchen Janitors (Bussers/Dishwashers) for our Charlottesville, VA 22903 location. Janitors work within the site’s Food and Beverage area and ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen environment. The following Full Time and Part Time shifts are available:
· PM Full Time Shift: 11:45AM – 8:15PM ($17.20/hr)
Key Job Functions
Manually or mechanically wash and rinse dishes, glasses and silverware; maintain proper temperature for sterilization and add soap as needed
Sweep, mop, take out the trash, and assist with other duties as assigned
Wash and sanitize all dinner china and glassware
Sanitize all pots and pans and assist Cook in cleaning service ware
Separate, wash, and sanitize silverware
Put away all china, glass, and other items in the proper storage locations
Sweep and mop entire kitchen area at the end of shift
Take out trash as needed and at the end of the shift
Using sanitation instruction, keep kitchen sanitation up under direction of Cook and Chef
Assist with stock duties as necessary, such as storage, etc.
Assist with kitchen duties as requested by Lead Cook or Foodservice Manager on duty
Qualifications
Must be at least 16 years old
Must be able to communicate effectively and courteously with other staff
Must adhere to all Safety & Sanitation standards including acquiring ServSafe certification
Must be able to work with little to no direct supervision
Must follow all policies and procedures
