University of Virginia Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant Medical Director in Charlottesville, Virginia

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Virginia School of Medicine seeks candidates for an Associate Professor or Professor, open track, as Medical Director of the Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant group. Rank and tenure status will be determined depending upon qualifications.The incumbent will be expected to provide clinical service in outpatient clinics and on inpatient units, actively participate in clinical research programs, and will participate in the teaching program with cardiology fellows and medical house staff.

UVa is located in beautiful Charlottesville with easy access to the Blue Ridge Mountains, the eastern shore and the nation's Capital. Candidates must have an MD or equivalent and be board-certified in Cardiovascular Medicine and Advanced Heart Failure.
