Robert Half Technical Business Analyst in Charlotte, North Carolina

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Business Analyst with a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to join our team. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that our software projects meet business objectives and are delivered on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.

  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and detailed SDLC documentation.

  • Collaborate with development teams to design, implement, and test software solutions.

  • Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Conduct impact analysis and feasibility studies for proposed solutions.

  • Participate in project planning, including defining project scope, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Develop and maintain process flows, use cases, and other SDLC artifacts.

  • Ensure that solutions align with business goals and comply with relevant regulations and standards.

  • Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure issues are resolved promptly.

  • Provide training and support to end-users as needed.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong focus on technical projects and SDLC.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

  • Proficiency in creating technical documentation, process flows, and use cases.

  • Experience with requirements management and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).

  • Certification in business analysis or project management (e.g., CBAP, PMP).
