Job Title: Tax Manager

Job Description

As a Tax Manager, you will deliver exceptional client service, prepare and review complex Partnership and S-Corp return filings, and demonstrate competency in technical skills, work quality, and adherence to professional and firm standards. You will collaborate with other Tax team members and client staff to effectively meet and exceed client expectations. Your role involves managing client relationships, facilitating and managing the preparation and review of company federal and state income tax returns ensuring accurate, timely filing of all tax forms through a combination of in-house preparation and supervision of outsourced tax returns. You will also develop and implement strategic tax planning for all necessary federal and state taxes and review tax returns and quarterly/yearly tax projections. Our clients include sectors such as manufacturing, athletes, and restaurants.

Hard Skills

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a remote position requiring a select number of days on-site in Indianapolis, IN annually.

Work Environment

Work hours are primarily during the first shift, with a flexible starting time. The team environment involves no direct reports but requires managing workflow. level. Performance is measured with 80% budget hours. During the busy season from January to April, expect to work up to 60 hours per week.
