The Tax Analyst, Domestic Compliance, is responsible for the preparation of the Company’s tax accounting and compliance processes, including the preparation, review and filing of federal and state and local tax returns and related estimated tax payments.

  • Assist in the preparation and review of federal and state income tax returns, extension requests and coordinate the quarterly estimated payments.

  • Assist with calculations in support of the Company’s yearly and interim tax provision to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with ASC 740

  • Assist with federal and state income/franchise tax audits by gathering information and preparing draft responses to IDR’s put forth by the taxing jurisdictions

  • Responsible for state income tax apportionment collection and reconciliation

  • Research, analyze and conclude on various federal and state tax issues, new legislation, and tax reform as impactful to the organization

  • Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process, including monthly/quarterly account reconciliations

  • Assist in streamlining and automating the tax provision and compliance process and workpapers

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent

  • CPA preferred, but not required

  • Advanced degree (MST, JD/LLM) preferred, but not required

Years and Type of Experience:

  • Two or more years of progressive tax experience

  • Multinational Corporation Experience preferred, but not required

  • Experience with Big 4 accounting firms preferred, but not required

  • Experience with OneSource suite of software, including Income tax and Tax Provision, is preferred, but not required

  • Experience with analytic tools, such as Alteryx or Power BI, preferred but not required
