ManpowerGroup Supplier Quality Engineer 2 in Charlotte, North Carolina

Our client, a leading organization in the engineering sector, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality Management Department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a results-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay Range: $30.00-35.00 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Conduct supplier qualification and development, ensuring high technical and quality standards.

  • Lead cross-functional teams to perform Product and Process Qualification (PPQ) according to applicable standards.

  • Implement and optimize the Supplier Quality Management Process to ensure requested quality levels.

  • Initiate and implement supplier quality improvement programs and conduct root cause analysis.

  • Participate in design reviews and support early supplier involvement for new designs.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or a similar discipline; Master’s Degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in supplier qualification and technical supplier development.

  • Experience in leading projects and managing virtual cross-functional teams in an international environment.

  • Extensive knowledge in welding and coating; CWI certification preferred.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
