Robert Half is actively seeking a proficient Staff Accountant to join our client's dynamic and high performing team. The perfect candidate will play a crucial role in compiling and analyzing data, creating precise reports and statements, and integrating appropriate suggestions into work processes. The position requires an individual with unyielding tact, professionalism and an impressive level of detail-oriented performance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Full control of all facets of month-end closing procedures.

• Assist in preparation and maintenance of financial statements and reports.

• Handle intricacies related to accounts payables and receivables.

• Perform account reconciliations promptly and accurately.

• Manage and monitor fixed assets.

• Use Great Plains software for all financial records and transactions.

• Identify potential financial issues or discrepancies and suggest resolutions.

• Collaborate effectively with finance team and other departments to ensure synchronized functioning.

  Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.

• 3-5 years of accounting experience is required including month-end close, account reconciliations, payables, receivables and fixed assets.

• Proficiency in Great Plains software is a must.

• Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

• In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles(GAAP).

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to detect and resolve complex problems.

• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills for liaising with different departments.
