Honeywell Sr. IT Business Partner - Aero Procurement in Charlotte, North Carolina

Become a member of Aero IT, supporting the ISC organization in Aero with a focus on Procurement and Sourcing. You will collaborate closely with Business customers and Enterprise IT to help drive execution of growth, productivity and digital solutions enabled through existing and emerging information technology.

In this role, you will report to our Director IT and work out of one of the following locations on a hybrid work schedule: Phoenix, AZ, Clearwater, FL, Charlotte, NC, Redmond, WA, Torrance, CA, South Bend, IN.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with project sponsors, Business customers, stakeholders, IT and suppliers

  • Lead IT due diligence sessions with Business customers to define detailed requirements and business cases with benefits justification for IT investment projects

  • Partner with Enterprise IT and FPA’s to develop solutions, cost estimates and schedules for IT projects based on business requirements and scope

  • Partner with Business in negotiating for financial funding and business case approval. Once funded, negotiate with Enterprise IT for resource allocation to support the project.

  • Coordinate business participation in project teams including participation in Enterprise IT project status meetings for IT projects in execution, User Acceptance Test (UAT) planning and execution to support on-time delivery and cost objectives

  • Facilitate escalations from Business customers for IT projects and IT incident tickets

  • Support the development of the Aero Procurement and Sourcing IT roadmaps

  • Help enable the digital transformation strategy in support of the Aero Global Design Model (GDM)

  • Track and report on IT project portfolio status and metrics to leadership

  • Identify potential risks with platforms and tools partnering with service owners to define mitigations and solutions including remediation for tech debt

  • Responsible for timely communication with Business customers and functional leaders on status updates and ensuring ownership of deliverables

  • Support STRAP and AOP activities

The application period for the job is estimated to be 40 days from the job posting date; however, this may be shortened or extended depending on business needs and the availability of qualified candidates.

The annual base salary range for this position is $103,000 - $126,850. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Due to export control regulations, this position requires US citizenship status

  • 7+ years working experience in a professional environment

  • 3+ years project management / team leadership experience

  • 3+ years of IT solution or project delivery experience OR 3+ years procurement sourcing experience

  • 1+ years of SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA or other SAP ERP application experience
