Will drive innovation and design excellence throughout the product development process. Collaborating with cross-functioning teams, you will develop advance technologies for scientific instruments utilized in various laboratory environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with a passion for designing impactful solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with electronics and software engineers to integrate their efforts within the product development team.

• Being apart of the processes from conception to production.

• Revision of existing products and new product development.

• Develop prototypes for testing and conduct evaluations to identify design issues or opportunities for improvements.

• Document designs including 3D Models, Drawings and Assembly Procedures.

• Responsible for the physical design of instruments, including electromechanical, fluidic and optical components.

• Identify & troubleshoot problems through entire product life cycle.

• New Product Development & New Product Introduction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field (physics, applied math, electrical engineering, chemistry). Master’s Degree a plus.

• 8-10 Years as a mechanical engineer (or related) involved in the design of innovative electromechanical systems.

• Must have significant experience working in a multi-disciplinary project team, with a proven record of design innovation.

• Familiarity with 3-D CAD modeling is required; Creo Parametric experience is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $150000.00/hr.
