This position will champion 80/20 activities across all of Honeywell’s Strategic Business Groups (SBG). Utilizing the 80/20 philosophy to facilitate the development and execution of business strategy, this role will create momentum, success, and sustainability.

To excel in this role, you should be able to effectively lead and influence teams to drive priorities across all business functions. You should be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized, able to build rapport with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Energize and engage the organization to progress in long-term improvement actions while meeting today's business performance needs. Balance 80/20 strategy and tactics, helping the organization and leadership team to evolve and achieve financial Margin and Growth objectives.

  • Utilize 80/20 data-driven thinking to continuously analyze all aspects of the business and identify Simplification opportunities with Customers, Products, Components, Processes, Capabilities, Tools, and Channels.

  • Serve as a vital resource and facilitate 80/20 across the SBGs. Ensure 80/20 is operationalized at the Line of Business (LOB) and Regional levels.

  • Develop performance metrics/dashboards to monitor 80/20 progress and actively govern it.

  • Deploy the 80/20 program and lead training sessions/events across all levels, from executive to hourly.

  • Define core and non-core value streams based on data analytics. Promote allocating resources and funding towards strategic core customers, products, capabilities, and partners while exiting or outsourcing the non-strategic.

  • Support functional owners to properly execute 80/20 with Business Case Development, Portfolio Roadmaps, Business Segmentation, Product Development, Voice of Customer, Go-To-Market, Market Insight, and Pricing Strategies

  • Organize cross-functional brainstorming and benchmarking events that help identify strategic opportunities.

  • Work with VP/GMs of the businesses to improve P&L performance and organizational efficiencies.

  • Lead and exemplify the culture of 80/20 across the organization.

  • Collaborate with business leaders on goal setting and connect 80/20 practices with employee involvement and operational objectives.

    Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Finance, Sales/Marketing, Engineering, or Business Management.

  • In-depth conceptual and practical understanding of 80/20 principles and Pareto methodology within Project or Aftermarket Services business models.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Science, Marketing, or a related field; Engineering is preferred

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (Preferred)

  • Expertise in training related to 80/20 processes and leading teams through 80/20 transformation.

  • In-depth understanding of P&L and profitability analysis.

  • Excellent organizational skills, with emphasis on priorities and goal setting

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams through complex projects.

  • Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive problem-solving.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and statistical analysis software
