Siemens Energy Production Scheduler - Combustion in Charlotte, North Carolina

This position is a production scheduler position located in the Combustion Components manufacturing department located in Charlotte, NC. Specifically, this position will be involving the scheduling of the transition and basket assembly areas of the shop.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • ● Schedule workflow to ensure alignment with the customer’s needs

  • ●Work with Order Execution tocommit to deliveries manufactured in Charlotte Combustion Components

  • ●Provide detailed work centerscheduling.

  • ●Manage inventories and WIP onthe shop floor

  • ●Collaborate with team membersand supervision to ensure accurate prioritization of work

  • ●Facilitate non-conformancerework planning and scheduling.

What You Bring

  • ·BachelorsDegree (BS/BA) or Associates Degree with equivalent experience.

  • ·Minimumof 5 years manufacturing experience in scheduling, line supervision, industrialengineering or production control.

  • ·Knowledgeof MRP and scheduling systems / tools, preferred along with proven experiencewith SAP and Microsoft Office software, a plus.

  • ·Knowledge of general machining and welding principles is anasset.

  • ·Excellentcommunication skills

  • ·Applicants must belegally authorized for employment in the United States without need for currentor future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees withcurrent visa sponsorship may beeligible for internal transfers

About the Team

Through our Generation division, we enhance and innovate conventional and renewable power supply. Currently, we're reducing carbon emissions of existing assets and developing technologies that transform power generation applications.

Specifically, the Charlotte Combustion Manufacturing team provides repair and new combustion components to support gas turbine service and new build customers. We pride ourselves on creative solutions to our customer’s needs.
