Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Architect with expertise in Agile methodologies to lead the practical implementation of Agile concepts within DevOps teams. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between theoretical Agile concepts and real-world application, guiding DevOps teams in adopting and executing Agile practices that drive efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. You will work directly with multi-functional teams, aligning Agile practices with DevOps culture to improve workflows, enhance collaboration, and deliver faster, higher-quality solutions. This role provides the opportunity to shape the Agile-DevOps transformation in a dynamic and innovative environment while working with a hard-working team in a collaborative, environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Agile Transformation for DevOps Teams: Design and implement Agile frameworks that are tailored to DevOps environments, ensuring Agile practices such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean are effectively integrated into the DevOps lifecycle.

  • Drive Practical Application of Agile: Collaborate with DevOps teams to translate Agile theory into actionable, real-world practices. Provide hands-on guidance for teams to ensure Agile concepts are fully adopted and aligned with DevOps goals.

  • Facilitate multi-functional Collaboration: Work with product development, QA, operations, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration of Agile practices across the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). Promote a culture of shared responsibility and collaboration.

  • Optimize DevOps Processes: Continuously assess, design, and improve DevOps workflows using Agile principles to foster continuous delivery, automation, and streamlined development pipelines.

  • Coaching and Mentoring: Coach DevOps teams on Agile standard processes, fostering self-organization, continuous improvement, and high-performance teamwork. Lead by example and help teams overcome challenges in adopting Agile processes.

  • Agile Process Mapping: Define, map, document, and clearly articulate key processes that align Agile methodologies with DevOps standard processes, ensuring clear and actionable roadmaps for teams.

  • Monitor and Measure Effectiveness: Establish metrics and KPIs to assess the impact of Agile adoption within DevOps teams. Continuously analyze performance and provide insights to adjust and optimize processes for improved outcomes.

  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior leadership and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment on Agile-DevOps initiatives and outcomes. Report on progress, challenges, and successes in the transformation process.

  • Facilitate Agile Ceremonies: Lead key Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.) within DevOps teams to ensure that Agile practices are well-implemented and continuous improvement is a core part of the team’s routine.

  • Maintain Agile Best Practices: Stay ahead of with the latest trends in both Agile and DevOps, ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of Agile-DevOps integration, and share knowledge with the teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • Certified Agile Practitioner (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Agilist, or other Agile certifications).

  • Extensive Experience in Agile and DevOps: At least 5+ years of experience in applying Agile methodologies in DevOps environments, with a strong track record of successful Agile transformations.

  • Deep Understanding of DevOps Practices: Confirmed experience in DevOps tools and principles, such as CI/CD, automation, infrastructure as code, and cloud-based deployment practices.

  • Strong Process Mapping and Optimization Skills: Ability to design, map, and optimize business and software development processes, ensuring alignment with Agile and DevOps principles.

  • Validated Leadership and Coaching Experience: Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide both technical and non-technical team members, helping them adapt to new Agile processes.

  • Excellent Communication and Collaboration Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, partners, and leadership, and to foster a culture of collaboration across diverse teams.

  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to find opportunities for improvement and implement solutions that drive business value.

  • Experience with Agile Tools: Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, or other DevOps/Agile management software is preferred.

  • Experience in continuous delivery and automation pipelines.

  • Knowledge with modern cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

  • Automation and development experience highly recommended.

This position will be subject to U.S. export control requirements under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent on either verifying the U.S. Person status or obtaining any necessary export license.

Siemens Software. Transform the Everyday

The salary range for this position is $126,100 to $227,000 and this role is eligible to earn incentive compensation. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
