About this role
Commercial HVAC Operations is searching for a Materials Planning & Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) Specialist at our Charlotte factory location.
This position is for an experienced Materials Planning and SIOP professional who takes responsibility for the supply & demand planning processes; makes moderate improvements to systems & processes to enhance performance; and works with suppliers and internal teams to meet customer requirements and KPIs.
The Materials Planning & SIOP Specialist will work onsite in Charlotte, NC.

Key Responsibilities
Develop strategies for materials planning and SIOP
Develop standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP in order to optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery
Develop indicators that enable visibility to short and long-term market trends and demand
Identify appropriate demand streams and establish data relationship linkages
Work with product development leaders, sales and marketing teams to develop demand forecasts
Plan capacity and fulfillment demand with plant manufacturing operations
Work with the manufacturing team and develop monthly production volume planning using the business forecast, inventory position, actual customer orders, and the defined capacity parameters
Identify and develop new technologies to improve materials planning and SIOP capability, sustainability, and reliability
Track appropriate metrics to drive results and continuous improvement
Develop processes and plans to improve supply capabilities
Establish clear and robust metrics to measure progress through process improvements for SIOP
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
3+ years of materials, sales, inventory, or/and operations planning experience
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree
Leadership and/or cross-functional influence experience
Analytical mindset
English verbal and written communication skills
Microsoft Excel Advanced and SAP experience
Project management skills
Work cohesively and interact with international/outside vendors and internal stakeholders
