TEKsystems Join Our Team As A CCTV/Access Control Technician! in Charlotte, North Carolina

About the Role:

We have 2 immediate openings for skilled CCTV/Access Control Technicians to join our team for an exciting project with Duke Energy. You’ll be working primarily in and around Raleigh to Charlotte, NC, traveling to Duke Energy substations to install and service cutting-edge CCTV and access control panels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and service physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and other low-voltage systems.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues efficiently.

  • Train and mentor team members, sharing your expertise.

  • Collaborate with trades and subcontractors to ensure project success.

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and their applications.

  • Lead smaller projects/installations, ensuring quality results.

    What You Bring:

  • 2+ years of experience with enterprise-level physical security systems (Access Controls, CCTV, Intrusion/Burglar, etc.).

  • Proficiency in device installation, headend equipment, cabling, and network connections.

  • Basic understanding of networking and programming.

  • Ability to oversee and train others on installations.

  • Skilled in using test equipment to verify installations.

  • Strong troubleshooting abilities across various systems.

  • Ability to obtain necessary licensure.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
