Description

Robert Half is on the lookout for a dependable and precise Inventory Clerk for a short-term contract position with one of our esteemed clients. The chosen candidate will be tasked with competently managing product orders, coordinating inventory movements, and keeping up-to-date records.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Order Management:

• Ensuring accurate and consistent data between company orders and supplier confirmations in terms of product details, pricing, and addresses.

• Appending supplier confirmations to the corresponding orders in the QuickBooks software.

• Determining expected arrival dates based on shipping origin, the method of transportation, and supplier shipping schedules.

• Offering daily email updates concerning approved orders to the Customer Support team.

• Inventory Transfer:

• Coordinating inventory movements based on packing slips received from our Warehouse team.

• Cross-checking that the product details and quantities are in accordance with the Warehouse's physical count and the details on the packing slip.

• Cross-validating the shipping address on the QuickBooks order is set to our location in Charlotte.

• Cross-checking that the invoice from our Accounting team lines up with the in-transit product record.

• Updating QuickBooks inventory by moving stock from the "In-Transit" location to the "CLT" location.

• Making a detailed note of the transfer number, date, and sign-off on the packing slip for record-keeping purposes.

  Requirements

Ideal candidates should have a solid understanding of inventory management, particularly using QuickBooks and display excellent organizational skills along with an eye for detail.
