Deliver technically complex solutions. Perform system integration support for all project work. Consult and partner with the business product owners to understand the end goal and offer solutions and recommendations during the design.

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  • The ability to lead the development, testing, and implementation of intelligent automation (IA)solutions using the UiPath platform.

  • Serve as a technical expert to solve complex problems considering system limitations and desired results based on the business objective.

  • Be able to deliver high-quality IA solutions that are resilient and sustainable in production.

  • Ensure adherence to Truist’s IA development standards, and overall industry understood IA development best practices.

  • Develop customized code, integrate software, and configure solutions, where needed.

  • Experience with writing test plans and test scripts and running unit tests.

  • Puts an emphasis on critical thinking from a “First Principles” paradigm, to ensure that solutions are logical and are optimized for the circumstances to bear given the technical limitations of the applications that are a part of the automation and the automation’s business objective.

  • Be able to effectively challenge and provide counterpoints on an automation’s scope and solution design, its requirements, and the automation feasibility, where need be.

  • Be able to effectively communicate and work directly with the process owners and subject matter experts in the business, with the ability to influence and persuade where need be.

  • Have demonstrated the ability to write and refine user stories and develop code according to acceptance criteria.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. High School diploma or GED and six to ten years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience

  2. In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices

  3. Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function

  4. Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practice

  5. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates. Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and four to seven years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience

  • In-depth knowledge of Information Systems and Software Development best practices.

  • Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies.

  • Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems.

  • Ability to mentor less experienced teammates and convey complex information.

  • Must have 4+ years of experienceof continuous development on the UiPath Platform with deep knowledge of the UiPath platform itself and its aligned infrastructure (Orchestrator, VDIs, etc.)

  • Must have a demonstrated deep knowledge in modular-based development, the proper creation and use of reusable code and libraries, and experience with data structures, algorithms, and software design.

  • Must have experience with APIs and database integration.

  • Must have experience with solution designing and architecting enterprise level automationand understand the concept of what constitutes an enterprise automation.

  • Must have experience with code repository and versioning tools such as Git and TFS

  • Must have coding experience in .NET (C#/VB.NET), or with Python, JavaScript, highly preferred.

  • Must have attained UiPath’s Automation Developer Professional Certification (previously called Advanced Developer), with attaining the Automation Solution Architect Professional Certification, highly preferred.

  • Must have worked on an Agile delivery team and are familiar with generally accepted Agile ceremonies, etc.

  • Have experience developing using automated testing with knowledge of UiPath Test Manager, highly preferred.

  • Development experience with UiPath’s Document Understanding or other Intelligent Document Processing tools, UiPath’s Action Center, and Chat Bots, highly preferred.

  • Experience with relational database design and development (SQL, stored procedures, data modeling), highly preferred

  • Experience developing Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other visual reporting platforms, highly preferredBanking or financial services experience, highly preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a Bachelor’s degree in business with a focus on MIS, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Risk Management, highly preferred

  • Have developed an IA solution in the Citrix environment.

  • Experience integrating bots to enable logging in Splunk.

  • Experience with Open-Source tools and frameworks.

  • Experience coordinating with offshore resources.
