Job Summary

Currency, Commodities & Derivative Operations (CCDO) provides full operational support for the FX and Commodities businesses, including Trade Control, Confirmations and Settlements, as well as supporting the FI & Equity businesses by performing confirmations and settlements for OTC derivatives.

We are currently seeing a Leader to manage the team. We focus on effective bank balance management, support the set-up of client Settlement Instructions and provide support to key stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to be part of a growing and evolving business. As the manager of the team, you will provide Charlotte site leadership for Balance Management and Client Account Set-up Operations. Partner with the global managers to create and deliver the global strategy for the team, providing a value add service. You will be able to apply critical thinking and an investigative mind set to review and remediate issues. This role offers a high level of visibility as you will work with a number of other internal teams to provide seamless delivery and support to a range of stakeholders. We’re a team with a small presence in the US but are part of a global team, with teams based in APAC and EMEA.

What would your responsibilities include:

  • Prepare and submit confirmation timeliness reporting to the French regulator, ensuring accurate and timely reporting

  • Work as part of a global team monitoring bank account balances

  • Compile and anlayse data relating to bank account balances, overdrafts, fees and compensation charges

  • Oversee the settlement & confirmation static processes supported by the team

  • Review and update procedures to ensure documented processes remain current

  • Lead, develop, coach and motivate team members

  • Effective assessment and interpretation of changes to NFRR and AMF reporting requirements

  • Actively provides leadership and a senior point of escalation, with a purpose driven culture influenced across regions

This job is responsible for providing analytical support in a Global Markets Operations function for one or more operations product areas. Key responsibilities include analyzing and resolving highly complex operations problems and initiatives requiring exceptional handling and coordination of multiple operational and/or product specialists to resolve. Job expectations include managing projects and the introduction of new initiatives, systems, products, services, and processes and coordinating necessary expertise across multiple operations functions and product

Required Skills

  • Proficient with MS Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Recent Leadership and Coaching experience

  • Analytical skills including data reconciliation and interpretationExcellent organizational skills - ability to switch between tasks and to prioritize work effectively Strong communication skills - ability to run effective meetings and engage knowledgably and confidently with different stakeholders across the organization, building strong relationships with both internal and external clients
