* Contingent upon contract award*
Compensation:
- $3500 sign on bonus for selected qualified candidates with a current DHS ICE or CBP Clearance!
- Hourly Rate: $34.00.

Responsibilities
Performs duties related to the detention, processing, safeguarding, security, and escort of detainees as required by the contract
Exercises surveillance and control over detainees and maintains order and discipline
Make official entries in the processing logbooks that are legible and complete.
Conduct a security and sanitation check of the area prior to relieving the outgoing officer.
Inventory all equipment and notate the results in the logbook.
Receive all authorized equipment and ensure that it is in proper working condition.
You are required to duty carry one of the authorized intermediate weapons.
Intermediate weapons should be used in accordance with Service approved Use of Force policy.
Ensure that your communication radio is in good working order with a fully charged battery.
Inspect, maintain, and care for authorized equipment including but not limited to:
Qualify with a company issued semi-automatic pistol with appropriate duty belt and magazines.
Successfully complete all assigned training including defensive tactics and course requiring a minimum physical stamina.
Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with organization policies and procedures
Follows company-wide safety policies and practices and adheres to responsibilities concerning safety prevention, reporting, and monitoring as outlined in the Officer Handbook and other Company Safety Policies
Armed Detention Officers are responsible for guarding and safeguarding non-citizen detainees and the general public at government buildings in either a custodial or court settings.
Qualify on a standard course of fire twice yearly and up to four times annually if required.
