Prince Telecom is currently hiring Fiber Splicers to join our team in the Charlotte, NC area to help connect America!

Compensation: $18-24/hr (based on experience)
Job Type: Full time
Responsibilities:
Perform tasks associated with the electronic upgrade and splicing of cable
Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation
Complete daily production reports, mark-up maps, complete \"as-built maps\", and track daily production
Reconcile all issued parts and materials on a daily basis to ensure accurate material usage counts.
You will frequently work independently
Perform other splicing related duties as assigned
Who we are looking for…
Minimum 18 years old
Authorized to work in the United States for this company without sponsorship
Valid standard driver's license required
Splicing experience
Must live within 60 miles of Charlotte, NC
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to work a flexible schedule (over-time, after hours, weekends)
Focused and driven individual who can perform difficult manual labor tasks in adverse conditions
Ability to stand, crouch, sit, bend, balance, climb, crawl, lift, hold, or stoop while on shift
Able to lift, climb, and carry weight of up to 80lbs
