Kanaan Communications, LLC Fiber Splicer I in Charlotte, North Carolina

Prince Telecom is currently seeking entry level Fiber Splicers in Charlotte, NC to join our team to help connect America!

We provide paid training, full benefits, and a company vehicle.

Starting Pay: $18/hr

Job Type: Full-Time

What you will do:

  • Splice and connect underground fiber optic drop cabling related to a FTTH network deployment

  • Minor hand digging to locate buried splice enclosures

  • Use provided maps to locate vaults, splice enclosures and other points of interest within the fiber network

  • Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery

    Who we are looking for…

  • Minimum 18 years old

  • Authorized to work in the United States for this company without sponsorship

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Valid standard driver's license required

  • Ability to communicate effectively

  • Ability to comfortably stand, crouch, sit, bend, balance, climb, crawl, lift, hold, or stoop

  • Comfortable working in adverse weather (extreme heat, cold temperatures, wind, rain, snow, sleet, etc)

  • Able to lift, climb, and carry weight of up to 80lbs
