Honeywell Data Management Analyst- Data Governance & Process in Charlotte, North Carolina

As a Data Program Management Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and execution of data programs within the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data initiatives align with business objectives and are executed efficiently and effectively. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

You will report directly to our Data Management Director, and you'll work out of our Atlanta, Georgia or Charlotte, North Carolina, or Houston, TX, or Pittsford, NY, or Salem, Oregon location on a hybrid work schedule.

  • Hybrid Work Schedule Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of technical data programs from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering teams, data scientists, product managers, and executives, to understand project requirements, priorities, and constraints. Manage expectations and communicate project updates regularly.

  • Possess a deep understanding of technical data concepts, including data collection, storage, processing, analysis, and visualization. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies related to data management and analytics.

  • Coordinate resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support program objectives. Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project timelines or deliverables.

  • Implement quality assurance processes to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of technical data. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.

  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of program requirements, plans, and progress. Generate reports and presentations for stakeholders to provide insights into program performance and outcomes.

  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget effectively, ensuring that any deviations are documented, evaluated, and approved by relevant stakeholders.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes, increase efficiency, and enhance the value delivered by technical data programs. Solicit feedback from stakeholders and incorporate lessons learned into future projects.

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Connecticut, and Hawaii is72K-90K. For Washington and most major metropolitan areas in New York & California, the annual base salary range is 72K-90K. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • 3-5 years of experience in data and project management

  • Experience in any project management tools like MS Excel, Project, Visio

  • Familiarity with data management platforms, databases, and data warehousing technologies.

WE VALUE

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, engineering, business analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

  • Proven experience in program management, preferably in a technical or data-centric environment.

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop detailed project plans, track progress, and manage risks effectively.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the capacity to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus.

  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
