Emerson Customer Service Associate in Charlotte, North Carolina

Based in our Charlotte, NC location, you will enhance team performance and improve customer satisfaction by strategically handling customer orders, collaborating with sales and services team members, and providing administration assistance for our team in the US. Our team of engineers, technicians, and administration professionals is looking for the right fit to help us as we continue taking our business to new heights. As a Customer Service Associate, you will:

  • Be the central point of communication between sales, technician, customer and management for all customers in the east region.

  • Provide timely and professional responses to email, phone and chat requests.

  • Administer fulfillment of customers’ requests for quote (RFQ) including coordinating with Business Development, Field Sales and/or Field and Depot technicians.

  • Maintain and process all NEW and REPAIR customer orders from entry through shipment including sourcing material and using quality system.

  • Collaborate with our services team to resolve problems with order administration, sourcing inventory and parts, meeting on-time delivery requirements

  • Assist with procurement of technician tooling, office supplies, shipping supplies and AR submission

  • Work with our team to review customer purchase orders, buying agreements, terms and conditions, and commercial requirements prior to acceptance.

Required education, experience & skills:

  • High school graduate or general equivalency degree (GED)

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred education, experience & skills:

  • 2-Year / 4-Year Technical or Administrative Degree

  • 2 – 4 Years of Customer Service, Manufacturing, Order Entry or related experience

  • Oracle Experience
