Seeking a Controller to oversee the accounting team of a privately held group of companies. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing environment with domestic and internationally based customers, suppliers and employees.

responsibilities:

Will be involved in oversight of:

• financial accounting & reporting

• payroll

• treasury

• credit & collections

• cost accounting

• payables activities

• implementing & maintaining financial controls

• streamlining financial & reporting processes

• development of financial information to help improve operational efficiency.

qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or 5 years relevant experience.

• Strong aptitude for reporting, process and ERP based systems and methods.

• Experience in manufacturing ERP systems and analytical systems preferred.

• Experience in the implementation and management of finance-based projects and initiatives.

• Ability to travel to other locations in the US and Canada as needed.
