Novant Health Cancer Support Services Coordinator in Charlotte, North Carolina
Job Summary
Infusion authorization/referral experience
Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm(flexible)
The support services coordinator must possess and demonstrate effective application of relationship building, decision making, execution, and accountability. The support services coordinator must also provide extensive coordination of GI patients referred to the NHCC by GI physician partners and other affiliated physician champions. The coordinator must demonstrate ongoing program development to include educational materials, meeting patient, and family needs, and maintain customer satisfaction that makes the Novant Health experience remarkable.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred Nursing/Healthcare Field
Experience: Minimum of five years successful experience communicating directly with physicians, patients, and families coping with various stages of cancer, as well as their medical care givers. Required Awareness of and relationship with community resources. Three years of administrative support in a healthcare setting. Required
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH-HR-3096
Additional Skills Required: The ability to work in a fast pace environment, multi-tasking and interacting with co-workers at the NHCC as well as other physician offices. Excellent communication skills, Training in specific issues relating to patient confidentiality. Excellent computer skills related to these functions.
Additional Skills Preferred: Knowledgeable with Aria Radiation Oncology EMR and EPIC
