Job Description

Role Summary: This role is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals of a multitenant Data Quality platform. This individual will be part of an enterprise level Data Quality Center of excellence team and collaborate with multiple lines of business. Key responsibilities of the role include ensuring that Platform is designed to meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. This role involves configuring Data quality platform that uses a tool called Collibra Data Quality and ensuring that platform can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust and well-tested interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

 Contribute to story refinement/defining requirements.

 Participate in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle.

 Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.

 Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.

 Utilize multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of tenants requirements.

 Assist team with resolving technical complexities involved in realizing story work.

 Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause.

 Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, support, and business functionality.

 Participate, contribute and can coach team members in the delivery/release (CI-CD) events. e.g. branching timelines, pull requests, issue triage, merge/conflict resolution, release notes

Skills and Requirements

Required Skills

 6+ years of relevant application and/or framework development experience using Python and/or Java, with strong fundamentals and prior-programming experience with API integration

 Hands on experience in working with Postgres database.

 Experience with one orchestration tools such as Autosys.

 Experience working with CI/CD tools such as ansible, bitbucket, etc.

 Some experience working in Linux environment with ability to run common commands.

 Experience in relational databases such as Oracle, SQL server, Hadoop, Hive etc.

 Analytical skills to perform technical and functional analysis

 Prior Experience with some kind of Data Quality tools/solutions.

 Data platform experience data governance, data quality, etc. (not heavy UI).

 Ability to work with minimal guidance towards end-to-end application delivery.

 Ability to work with global teams and can work well under pressure.

 Self-motivated and team player with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.

 Strong problem solver/strategic thinker, challenging status quo, etc.

 Bachelors Degree in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or other technical related field. Desired Skills

 Working Knowledge on containers.

 Knowledgeable with Starburst or similar technology (data virtualization layer to extract data)

 Prior experience working on an ETL platform.

 Prior Finance/Banking experience null
