You'll be interested in Robert Half's new opportunity if you are a skilled Financial Analyst. Are you looking for work as a Financial Analyst? In this position, you would have the opportunity to become a key business partner in forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This position would involve conducting financial modeling on various financial products, as well as measuring, analyzing and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, you're a good fit for this position. In this position, you will also advise management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives and prepare reports for management. This Financial Analyst role is a short-term contract / temporary employment opportunity and is located in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area.

Responsibilities

• Work with contacts in Accounting and Operations to support business plans

• Power monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required

• Participate in planning with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

• Uncover the influencing factors that are driving performance and trends

• Research performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities

• Present and monitor forecasting reports

• Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support

• Oversee the monthly and quarterly financial close process by working with Accounting

• Support weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting

• Analyze annual performance by comparing actual results to their expectations and supply information to business partners to inform decision making

• Candidate that feels comfortable working with large amounts of information and handling expectational

  Requirements - Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience ideal)

• Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

• BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

• Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

• Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations

• Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system

• Firm understanding of problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

• Strong familiarity with Fraud Investigation

• Proven knowledge of Excel Formulas

• Anti money laundering experience

• KYC AML experience preferred

• Experience with Microsoft Excel

• Anti-Fraud experience

• Experience with financial data management processes & systems, e.g. Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/Tableau
