About these roles:

The Veteran Employment Transition (VET) Program is a nationwide 8-week Spring and Fall development program that converts directly to a full-time opportunity based on performance. We’re hiring a class of 20 – 30 to begin on April 30th starting with an intensive training and orientation led by professional instructors and senior Wells Fargo employees. You'll network with your peers and Wells Fargo leaders while developing your skills and knowledge of our financial products and services before joining a team of experienced Wells Fargo employees for on-the-job training and development. Program Expectations:

  • Must be able to start April 30, 2025 and attend full duration of 8-week development program

  • Must be off active duty no later than April 29, 2025. (Only exceptions: terminal leave and/or traditional Guard or Reserve status, these are eligible)

Program Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of work experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Service in any branch of the United States military

  • Able to work on the first day of the program, April 30, 2025

The Senior Finance Analyst role falls within Technology Finance which covers jobs responsible for financial and economic analysis, forecasting and evaluating trends in sales, finance, and other areas of the business.

Senior Finance Analyst (Available location: Charlotte, NC)

  • Support all financial processes and reporting including actuals, budget, forecast of various financial and headcount metrics and scenarios/views including general ledger, program/project, product, application, allocations, and business case financials

  • Complete month-end financial close including forecasting, reporting, and analysis of direct expenses at a detailed cost center and account level

  • Partner with Finance counterparts across the Company to provide financial commentary and analysis regarding financial drivers and variances (i.e. actuals/forecast vs. budget)

  • Engage in annual budgeting of business case estimation for technology investments, monitor against approved spend to provide financial transparency

  • Maintain and refine key metrics and performance indicators across areas such as Technology workforce and vendor usage and spend

  • Ensure proper financials preparation for operating reviews/reports, financial ownership in business cases and ad- hoc analyses

  • Manage monthly results close financial processes; provide forecast/budget updates with meaningful/actionable analytics

  • Drive transparency, cost simplification, value measurement in financial advice and guidance for strategic planning and business level plans

Desired Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Economics

  • 2+ years of experience in finance analysis and reporting

  • Demonstrated experience with MS Excel or Power BI for data dashboards, modeling, manipulation and synthesis

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Job Expectations:

  • Adhere to the Wells Fargo Return To Office (RTO) stipulations which require employees to work in an approved core location, 3 days a week

Pay Range:

  • Charlotte: $56 Hourly
