Position Overview Antilles School is seeking a dynamic and talented Repairer/Maintenance Worker to join a committed team of educators in a collaborative environment. As a Repairer/Maintenace Worker you will be performing general repairs to the facility. Responsibilities: - Performs general plumbing, carpentry and electrical repairs to the facilitys equipment and systems. - Inspects and troubleshoots equipment and systems to identify problems or issues. - Performs general repairs and preventative maintenance that do not require a specialized technician. Examples may include repairing drywall, painting, and repairing doors and other building fixtures. - Performs routine maintenance on building systems. - Cleans and assists with upkeep of the facilities. - Maintains inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies. - Performs other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements: - Prolonged periods of standing and walking. - Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, and crawl into awkward spaces. - Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
