Position Overview Antilles School is seeking a dynamic and talented teacher to join a committed team of educators in a collaborative environment that places a high value on educating the whole child. Responsibilities include maintaining a child-friendly classroom and age-appropriate routines to teach the core subjects of Reading, Writing, Spelling, Grammar, Math, Science, and Social Studies. The teacher is expected to have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the schools curriculum and the developmental stages of their students. Character development and the social emotional development of each child are as equally important as their academic development. Communicating effectively with families and working in partnership with them is vital to each childs success in the classroom. Collaboration with peers and a positive work ethic are expected.
