Position Overview The Buildings and Grounds Manager will oversee maintenance and repair of facilities and grounds to ensure the efficient operation of all equipment and facilities used throughout the property, as well as coordinating safety and security programs for the school. Supervisory Responsibilities - Hires, supervises, and trains employees who maintain buildings and grounds. - Coordinates the day-to-day workflow, scheduling, and assignments of the department. - Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive. - Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with school policy. Responsibilities - Manages and supervises the administration, improvement, maintenance, safety and general operations of the facility. - Supervises and schedules in house and contracted buildings and grounds maintenance and cleaning staff. - Maintains adequate maintenance and cleaning supplies. - Designs, schedules, and coordinates general upkeep, major repairs, remodeling, or construction projects of the property. - Determines whether repairs and/or maintenance are needed based on regular inspections of the grounds, facilities, equipment
