SHI Solutions Architect - Services Presales - Field Services in Charleston, West Virginia

Job Summary

We are looking for aSolutions Architect to design and implementdevice and equipmentdeployment strategies foron-siteservices and related solutions. This role involves serving as the technical lead, responsible for facilitating discovery sessions with customers to develop a comprehensive statement of work (SOW), outlining the scope and value offieldservices engagements for SHI customers. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with clients to ensure thesuccessfuldelivery of tailored, high-impactfieldservicessolutions.

This position is a remote position with Home Office setup as determined by SHI management.

Responsibilities

include, but not limited to:

  • Presales Engagement

  • Collaborate with sales teams to understand client requirements, goals, andconstraints

  • Design and present tailored solutions, addressingthe customer’sbusiness and technical needs

  • Lead discovery sessions, technical workshops, and assessments to evaluate current environments

  • Function as a trusted advisor for clients, building strong relationships with stakeholders and decision-makers

  • Lead the development of SOWs, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with client needs and business objectives

  • Solution Development

  • Create comprehensive technical proposals,deployment strategies, and cost estimatesfor

  • Workstation Deployments

  • Low-voltage cabling

  • Telephony

  • Server/Networking Infrastructure

  • Point-of-Sale Systems

  • Wireless Solutions

  • Digital Signage Solutions

  • Drive revenue growth within the professional services team by identifying new opportunities and optimizing service offerings

  • Collaboration and Knowledge Sharing

  • Partner with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure consistent solution development and smooth handoff of signed projects

  • Engage with SHI sales teams, including front line sellers and customer success managers, to ensure a unified approach to service delivery and client engagement

  • Contribute to practice development by identifying areas for growth and leading innovation initiative

  • Create and maintain practice standards and practices, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services

Qualifications

•Completed Bachelor’s, Technical degree or related work experience inField Servicesor a related field

•Minimum 5 years’ experience in structured cabling, end user device deployments, and site surveys

Required Skills

•Proven experience in a similar role, with a focus on services solutiondevelopmentand revenue growth in Professional Services

•Strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

•Excellentpresentation andcommunication skills, with the ability toarticulate technical solutions toengage stakeholders at all levels

•Ability to analyze customer requirements and design solutions that meet their business objectives and budget constraintswith a consultative approach.

•Experiencein developing SOWs and driving revenue growth in professionalservices.

•Proficiency in creating technical documentation, proposals, and architecture diagrams.

Certifications Required

PreferredCertifications: BICSI, CompTIA, CCNA, ITIL, PMP

Unique Requirements

Travel to internal meetings as needed, up to 10%

Additional Information

  • The estimated annual pay range for this position is $100,000 - $200,000 which includes a base salary and bonuses.

  • The compensation for this position is dependent on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location and, therefore, will vary from individual to individual.
