Role Overview:

As a Software Development Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Data Platform group, developing full stack, cloud native applications. To be successful in this role you should have exceptional technical skills and communication, with multiple years of designing and implementing Enterprise class solutions. This is a technical position; you will be involved in all aspects of product development lifecycle – requirements discussion/analysis, design, scope estimation, planning, implementation, code reviews and unit testing, documentation, POCs, deployment and continuous engineering.

About the Role:

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain AWS cloud native components using C#,.NET Core, Python

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into scalable software solutions.

  • Implement and deploy solutions in AWS ensuring high availability and reliability.

  • Write efficient, reusable, and well-documented code, ensuring code quality through code reviews and testing.

  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements, incorporating new technologies into our development and security processes.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure smooth system operation.

About you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • 2+ years experience as a backend developer building microservices and components using .NET Core and/or Python

  • Strong knowledge of AWS services and cloud-based application development.

  • Working knowledge of database systems (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL or PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).

  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
