The role.
Seeking a proactive, organized and creative collections analyst to achieve accounts receivables targets. A successful candidate will take ownership of the assigned portfolio, apply solid collection fundamentals, collaboratively resolve issues with the customers and business unit, be open to new or innovative approaches, and adapt to a dynamically changing portfolio. The candidate selected for this position will collaborate with all functions within the Innomotics business working closely with sales, project management, cash application and multiple departments on collection topics.
Primary responsibilities include collecting on the assigned portfolio, improving performance with usage of the collection workflow tool, resolving problems at sophisticated levels, and recommending actions to increase collectability. The collection analyst works closely with the management team to ensure awareness of any sophisticated actions and/or problems affecting their relationship with the customers and recommends appropriate action.
Responsibilities:
Contact customers via phone and email; supervise customer portals
Provide excellent customer service regarding collection issues, refunds, and customer account reconciliation
Identify, understand and communicate discrepancies and understand root cause of disputes
Analyze customer accounts to determine business risk
Prioritize and follow up on customer accounts on a timely basis
Reduce delinquency for assigned collection portfolio by analyzing payment behavior, implementing on-time payments
Communicate payment experience and any concerns to the credit team
Raise and enlist the support of sales and senior management when vital to accelerate the collection process
Support and potentially lead monthly portfolio reviews, as needed
Establish and maintain effective, working relationships with internal & external customers
Recommend third-party collections and/or legal handling, where needed
Perform other related tasks and duties, as needed
Your profile.
Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 3 years high volume corporate collections experience
Knowledge of billing and collections procedures
Analytical with attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
Proven resourcefulness, tenacity and curiosity
Ability to establish relationships, influence and negotiate
Results oriented
Commitment to excellent customer service
Fundamental Accounting knowledge
Computer Skills – Excel, Power point; experience with SAP and other collection tools a plus
Knowledge of advance billing processes Down Payment Request a plus

The pay range for this position is $52,200 - $89,600. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
