Humana Care Management Support Assistant in Charleston, West Virginia

Humana Healthy Horizons in Kentucky is seeking a Care Management Support Assistant 1 who will contribute to the administration of care management.

  • Provides non-clinical support to the assessment and evaluation of members' needs and requirements to achieve and/or maintain optimal wellness state by guiding members/families toward and facilitate interaction with resources appropriate for the care and wellbeing of members.

  • Performs basic administrative/clerical/operational/customersupport/computational tasks.

  • They typically work on routine and patterned assignments.

  • Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.

Required Qualifications

  • Must reside in the state of Kentucky or a county that is contiguous to Kentucky state border in Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, Virginia, or West Virginia.

  • Minimum two (2) years customer service experience which may include inbound, outbound and face to face.

  • Intermediate professional knowledge using Microsoft Office technical experience with Word, Outlook, Excel, and ability to use multiple systems and platforms.

  • Familiarity with care and well-being resources.

  • Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree.

  • Behavioral Health experience.

  • Administrative support experience in a healthcare industry.

  • Microsoft Access proficiency.

Additional Information

  • Workstyle: This is a remote position.

  • Work Schedule: Must be able to work an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).

  • Travel: Travel to Humana's Louisville, KY office is required for onsite market meetings and as directed by the leader.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
