This is a non-exempt position that will report to the manager, food services or designee. Assist in cleanup functions, in compliance with government and management directives. Qualifications: One year related experience. Valid food handler's permit if required in the state of employment or ability to obtain one. Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds. Essential Duties: Keep serving counters stocked with salads, desserts and other foods. Replenish napkin dispensers, plate racks, silverware racks, salt and pepper shakers, condiments, etc. Make coffee, tea and other beverages. Set up cafeteria lines and serve meals on the line. Assist receiving clerk in the storage and inventory of supplies; transfer food ingredients from storage area to cooking area. Clean food service area, tables, and kitchen equipment and appliances. Assist in washing dishes/utensils; store in orderly fashion. Supervise students assigned to center work support in the cafeteria. Perform assigned food preparation activities. Mop, wax and buff cafeteria floors.
