Huntington National Bank Practice Finance Pulse Manager in Charleston, South Carolina

This is an in-office position and can be filled anywhere in the Huntington footprint.

This role involves overseeing the Practice Pulse team and managing loss mitigation for the Practice Finance business. It includes monitoring first-time practice owners' progress, identifying early warning signs of potential issues, and engaging leadership to mitigate risks.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the team responsible for monitoring first-time business owners in the Business Banking specialty lending space, including Dental, Medical, and Veterinarian Practices.

  • Owns primary responsibility for the monitoring of first- time business owners for startup and acquisition businesses in the Business Banking specialty lending space, including Dental, Medical and Veterinarian Practices.

  • Ensure the receipt and review of key performance metrics (KPIs) provided by the business owner and providing guidance and resources to ensure the clients’ success.

  • Provide phone coaching and/or in person, skill development, and feedback to our clients to ensure clients are meeting their business objectives.

  • Manage risk on an ongoing basis by monitoring customer provided data including financials to determine credit worthiness, adherence to loan terms and general business conditions.

  • Services, deepens and retains assigned profitable customer relationships by pro-actively evaluating and mitigating associated business risk and opportunities, per established Huntington policies, procedure and principles.

  • Presentation of the Pulse portfolio performance via a monthly business update to Sr. key leadership

  • Collaborate with key business partners to create Best in Class client experience, portfolio management, and risk management of current Pulse portfolio.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in health care practice management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Banking Practice Finance client management experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare lending

  • Experience with the management of a dental, medical, or veterinarian practice.

  • Excellent customer service skills, highly motivated, focused and goal oriented

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning, and follow-up\

  • Ability to build and expand quality internal and external customer relationships

  • Knowledge of credit review and identification of risk components of loans

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Strong proficiency using Power Point, MS Word and Excel

Compensation Range:

$70,000.00 -$140,000.00 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance.  Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.  In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
