Job Title: Phlebotomist

Job Description

As a Phlebotomist, you will be tasked with collecting specimens according to established procedures, which include drug screens, blood samples, and processing pathology and cytology samples. You will research test and client information, confirm and verify all written and electronic orders using lab technology systems or a directory of services. Responsibilities also include accurate data entry of patient registration and test orders, entering billing information, and collecting payments when required. You will also handle specimen processing, perform clerical duties as assigned, verify patient demographic information, maintain phlebotomy logs, complete training courses, and stay updated with company communications.

Job Type

This is a permanent position.

Work Environment

The role involves significant travel between Nursing and Assisted Living homes. The work schedule includes Monday to Friday and some Saturdays.
