Aerotek Construction Foreman in Charleston, South Carolina

Skilled laborer ($17-19/HR)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with site preparation, including excavation, grading, and leveling.

  • Operate hand and power tools, as well as small machinery, to complete construction tasks.

  • Load and unload construction materials and equipment.

  • Follow project plans and instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.

  • Maintain a clean and organized worksite.

  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

  • Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.

  • Site prep and site clean-up

Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Landscaping or experience working in an outdoor setting

  • Ability to lift up to 50 LBS

2- Pipe Layers - $18-20/hr (higher pay for operators)

Job Summary: We are seeking skilled Pipe Layers to install and repair underground piping systems for water, sewer, and storm drains. The ideal candidates will have experience in reading blueprints, excavating trenches, and ensuring proper pipe alignment and connection.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair underground piping systems.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

  • Excavate trenches and prepare the ground for pipe installation.

  • Align and connect pipes using appropriate methods.

  • Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Pipe Layer.

  • Knowledge of piping systems and construction procedures.

  • Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity.

2. Heavy Equipment Operators - $20-28/hr

Job Summary: We are looking for experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to operate machinery such as bulldozers, excavators, and loaders. The ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of equipment operation, maintenance, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy machinery for site preparation and grading.

  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.

  • Follow project plans and specifications.

  • Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently.

  • Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator.

  • Knowledge of heavy machinery operation and maintenance.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans.

3. Foreman Operators - $27-33/hr

Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Foreman Operators to lead and supervise construction crews. The ideal candidates will have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of construction practices, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate construction crews.

  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

  • Read and interpret blueprints and project plans.

  • Conduct routine inspections and quality control checks.

  • Adhere to safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Foreman Operator.

  • Strong leadership and communication skills.

  • Knowledge of construction procedures and safety guidelines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $35.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
