REMOTE Storm Water Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated REMOTE Storm Water Design Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in comprehensive site investigation and due diligence, including ordinance reviews, utility service research, agency regulations, and site visits. Primary responsibilities also include designing stormwater management and conveyance systems, using hydrology design software. The role involves extensive use of AutoCAD Civil 3D Land Development Software for the design of civil infrastructure, including site planning, roads, drainage, grading, earthworks, containments, deep excavations, ponds, stormwater management, and erosion and sedimentation control water systems, sanitary sewer systems, and other municipal infrastructure. The candidate will also be tasked with the use of hydraulic/hydrology modeling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM and the development of reports, planning studies, specifications, detailed design drawings, construction submittal reviews calculations, models, and other technical deliverables.

Hard Skills

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D Land Development Software

• Experience in the design of civil infrastructure

• Experience with hydraulic/hydrology modeling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM

• Ability to conduct hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and watershed modeling using PC SWMM, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and other modeling software

• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD

• Experience in Data center, commercial, or industrial project

• Civil, Land development, Site development, civil design, Stormwater, drainage, Civil engineering, Civil 3d, Design, Site design, Stormwater design, grading permitting

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal training

• Flexibility to adapt to different work hours depending on project requirements and deadlines.
