Job Title: Avionics Technician

Pay Rate : $35.00 - $44.00 an hour (based on expereince)

Shift : 1st Shift, Monday - Friday

Job Description

We are seeking experienced Avionics Technicians to join our team which is performing avionics integrations for Boeing B787 Dreamliner Aircraft in North Charleston, South Carolina. You will work on in-flight entertainment for aircraft systems using both manual and automated tools. This position is working on-site at Boeing and you will be partnering with Boeing and Airline personnel. NO TOOLS REQUIRED!

Primary Responsibilities

• Test and install avionics equipment and electrical systems.

• Inspect and troubleshoot communication, navigation, and flight control systems.

• Perform maintenance and repairs on avionics systems.

• Fabricate and install wire harnesses and electrical components.

• Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve issues.

• Maintain detailed records of all work performed.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

• Support an environment conducive to the successful installation of IFE/avionics and other aircraft electrical equipment.

• Coordinate with internal and external customers face-to-face, via email and chat functions, and via phone and/or conference calls.

• Perform support, installation, and configuration of IFE (in-flight entertainment)/avionic equipment/other electrical related tasks.

Required Skills

• Ideal candidate will have 4+ years of Avionics installation / troubleshooting expereince.

• Must be able to troubleshoot, install in-flight electronics into aircraft galleys, seats and lavatories.

• Must be able to run wires and assembling wire harnesses.

• Boeing Aircraft expereince is a plus

Work Environment

Typical hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. Must be shift flexible and open to working overtime and weekends when needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $44.00/hr.
