Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Bookkeeper in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This role will involve basic accounting responsibilities, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations. The position will require work to be performed remotely once a week with the remainder of the week being on-site.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable operations

• Manage payroll processing using ADP

• Handle bank deposits and perform bank reconciliations

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive financial information

• Complete data entry tasks and use Microsoft Excel for financial tracking and reporting

• Conduct month end close procedures

• Communicate with members regarding billing, demonstrating a personable approach

• Perform other basic accounting duties as needed

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Bookkeeping and Month End Close. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Capable of conducting Bank Reconciliations

• Solid understanding of Bookkeeping

• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks accurately

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Month End Close procedures

• Knowledgeable in handling Payroll

• Familiarity with ADP - Payroll system
