Job Description :

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Technology Strategy Consultant to work part time as a trusted advisor to our Defense clients, shaping and executing their business transformation agendas through technology.

• Lead work for our clients on their largest strategic initiatives and most critical problems at the intersection of business and technology, including digital disruption, industry convergence, growth and innovation, global operating models, sustainable cost management, enterprise transformation, and more.

• Spearhead the creation of strategies and plans to define how technology should be utilized to support an organization's overall business strategy and maximize value creation.

• Utilize your understanding of business strategy and your affinity with technology to define the strategy, operating model, enterprise-architecture and transformation roadmaps of technology organizations.

Responsibilities:

• Understand a client’s business strategy and lead work defining the link with technology and the architecture landscape, including organization, information, and infrastructure & applications.

• Quickly understand a client’s (IT) operating model, including the organizational structure, processes, and governance.

• Lead assessment for our clients on their key IT strengths and weaknesses, based on rigorous analysis and technology & industry knowledge.

• Coordinate creation of blueprints & recommendations and translate them in actionable roadmaps for complex and large technology environments – building future-proof architectures using modern technologies like cloud, edge computing, next-gen connectivity, event streaming, platform architectures and more.

• Manage the full lifecycle of strategy definition in the right way; ensuring the right setup during strategy definition and functioning as a guardian of the architecture to make sure that initiatives & roadmap build-up comply with the set guidelines without jeopardizing business objectives.

• Guide our clients through the transformation program to successfully implement their strategies.

• Work will be part time, up to 24 hours a week

Here's what you need:

• 5 years of experience planning and designing a software solution in a federal environment

• 5 years of experience integrating federal software solutions

• Experience working directly with stakeholders through integration

Security Clearance:

• Active TS/SCI clearance required to start

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
