ManTech Systems Administrator in Chantilly, Virginia
ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission-oriented Systems Administrator , in Chantilly, VA area, with strong technical capabilities and customer relationships.
The Systems Administrator is responsible for providing a full range of Tier 1 IT support services & expertise to customer activities focusing on client and server environment services and virtual environment services. You will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of client and server operations and maintenance with Windows 10 and 11 environments and Windows Server 2016/2019, to include Active Directory, Domain Controllers, FTP, DNS, GPO’s, PKI, DHCP, VMWare, Backup Architectures, Storage Management, and Auditing. You will contribute with experience and working knowledge with ITIL IT Operations Management and IT Service Management, SharePoint, and Tier 1-4 support.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Windows user account creation, enable, disable, deletion, and archival
Windows file and folder permission & inheritance structure
Provide superior customer service; possess strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal skills in a dynamic customer centric environment, and a self-starter
In-depth network and client systems troubleshooting
Perform maintenance, repair, upgrade, and full life cycle support of hardware/software interfacing with the enterprise
Research and order hardware/software to meet customer requirements
Document system configurations
Familiarity with virtualization and virtual environments
Familiarity with client system security to include scans, patching, audit log review, and system health checks
Familiarity with RAID, SAN, NAS, high availability, backup, and disaster recovery
Familiarity in setup/configuration of network devices, both copper and fiber
Familiarity with system monitoring tools: Tenable Security Center, ACAS, Splunk, SCCM, Trellix ePO, and HBSS, and ServiceNow,
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years or more years of relevant experience, or high school diploma/GED and 4 or more years of relevant experience
Security+ certification (active)
Occasional travel, 25% CONUS
Ability to use MS Office and PC
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous NRO experience is highly desired
COMSEC experience desired
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
Constantly positions self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet
Frequently moves Audio/Visual or Computer equipment weighing up to 50 pounds across and/or around a business campus or large facility
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
