We are actively hiring a Senior Systems / Network Engineer with TS/SCI clearance and polygraph to join our Mission Technology and Solutions Business Unit, working in Chantilly, VA.
You will work as part of a team supporting a large virtual environment that enables mission-critical operations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable interacting with senior management, technical peers, administrative staff, and other stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of diverse engineering projects.
Required skills:
Installation, configuration and maintenance of VMware vSphere components
Installation and configuration of Microsoft and/or Linux operating systems
Understanding of networking concepts and technologies
Understanding of storage and backup products/technologies
Desired skills:
Experience installing/configuring/maintaining Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
Active Directory and group policy configuration
Familiarity with scripting or other automation tools
Experience securing systems to achieve government security accreditation
Ability to brief technical projects to stakeholders of varying backgrounds and levels of expertise
Prior experience directing the work of a small technical team ( 6 people)
