SAIC Program Scheduler and Analyst in CHANTILLY, Virginia

Description

SAIC is seeking a Program Scheduler and Analyst in a dynamic System Program Office (SPO) at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO). This position will support acquisition and programmatic activities for a major satellite program. The job requires familiarity with NRO organization, processes, and satellite systems.

Specific Duties include:

  • With limited supervision after training, conduct review of monthly schedule submittals from contractors to the government (schedule analyses).

  • Identify schedule drivers and changes from month to month and prepare analysis presentations for senior leadership.

  • Produce meaningful metrics and respond to customer questions.

  • Present analyses monthly in various formats and customer forums.

  • Identify areas of potential conflict.

  • Determine critical path for major deliverables and schedule drivers that may impact the critical path.

  • Support Integrated Baseline Reviews.

  • Preform other duties as specified by the COTR and Program Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and nine (9) years or more of related experience; Master's degree and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience.

  • TS/SCI with Poly.

  • Extensive experience using MS Project (2010+).

  • Experience with MS Office suite esp. PowerPoint, Excel, & Access.

  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and able to coordinate requirements to accomplish goals with timeliness and accuracy.

  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, team building and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to travel domestically.

  • Experience in NRO, IC, and DoD acquisition and program management processes.

  • Previous program office experience.

  • Understanding of Earned Value Management (EVMS) is a plus.
