Koniag Management Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company , is seeking a Program Management Specialist to support KMS and our government customer. This is a Remote opportunity.

Koniag Government Services seeks a Program Management Specialist with public-sector and/or PMO experience to support a federal program management office at Fort Gregg-Adams, VA. Join our team of collaborative self-starters focused on delivering practical and efficient solutions to help our clients succeed.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

Staff Support:

  • Assist program managers in the daily management of projects, schedules, and resources.

  • Prepare, organize, and distribute reports, briefings, and documentation for executive-level presentations and meetings.

  • Provide administrative support including document management, data entry, and file maintenance.

  • Monitor project status and alert management of any potential risks or delays.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project objectives.

  • Provide hands-on support during critical project phases, helping teams meet tight deadlines and overcome resource limitations.

  • Assist with program planning and resource requirements

  • Support the planning and execution of stakeholder meetings, ensuring objectives are met.

  • Guide and consult to ensure adherence to all applicable federal and agency regulations, policies, and guidelines.

Training and Development:

  • Develop and deliver training materials and job-aids for program management staff, tailored to specific needs of the Defense Commissary Agency.

  • Perform over the shoulder guidance and training

  • Conduct one-on-one or group training sessions to enhance the team’s skills in program management tools, techniques, and best practices.

Process Improvement:

  • Implement process automation tools where possible to streamline workflows

  • Collaborate to ensure optimized use of program management tools

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Strong background in program management, with experience in supporting government or defense agencies.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • PMP or equivalent

  • Proficiency in program management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a high-paced environment

Working Environment & Conditions

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.

The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
