Cimarron Software Services, Inc. Painter in Chantilly, Virginia

Cimarron is seeking aSkilled Framer/Finisher/Painterto join our team in Chantilly, VA. The selected candidate for this position will need to work the 1st shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm ET).

Key Duties:

  • Demonstrate construction skills, includingrough-in and lay-out.
  • Read basic blueprints and become familiar with building codes.
  • Provide general support in response to routine trouble calls.
  • Use hand and power tools including saws, routers, and drills to construct, renovate, and repair facilities and equipment.
  • Work under high physical demands, deadlines, and time constraints to ensure timely completion of facilities construction projects.
  • Shift easily from project to project and work on several projects at a time, understanding that prioritization of work may cause planned delays in other tasks.
  • Learn light carpentry, construction, and painting skills to assist in repairing and mantainingcustomer facilities.
  • Pick up building materials for projects as requested and ordered by supervisors.
  • Validate ordered materials.

TRAVEL None REQUIRED/DESIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND EDUCATION

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Due to facility security requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for consideration at this time.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
  • 5 or more years of finishing and painting experience.
  • A valid drivers license.
  • Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 35lbs.
  • Experience providing exceptional customer service.
  • Basic knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.

Desired Skills, Experience, and Education:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI or FS Polygraph.
