Overview

SOSi is seeking an Intelligence Analyst to support our customer in duties of Spanish Linguists and Linguistics Analysts as well as other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Job Duties

  • The Intelligence Analyst shall be capable of performing the duties of Linguists and Linguistic Analysts as well as possess the qualifications described below. This person receives assignments and data from the Site Supervisor and the COR.

  • Reports to the COR, or other designee appointed by the Contracting Officer, on a daily basis as to the findings reported by Linguistic Analysts and from the analysis of foreign conversations, source documents, and other investigative material.

  • The Intelligence Analyst must have approval of the Site Supervisor and the COR before any changes can be made relating to staffing, procedures, and/or policy.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

  • Minimum of two (2) years of military, law enforcement or equivalent analytical and specialized experience as an intelligence analyst. The two (2) years’ experience should include both tactical and strategic intelligence and the requisite military analyst schools and training. Specialized experience shall include demonstrated organizational, analytical and communication skills, both oral and written.

  • This individual must be able to provide a core of intelligence analytical expertise our customer. This individual plan, conducts and supervises projects of major significance, necessitating advanced knowledge and ability to originate and apply new and unique methods and procedures. This employee provides professional advice and counsel to other professionals and generally operates with wide latitude.

  • Ability to review extensive transactional communication records and operate necessary technological tools and databases to analyze and evaluate criminal activity.

  • Ability to analyze and evaluate criminal communications often occurring in Spanish to advance investigative goals and objectives. Professional certification for applicable language or significant work experience is required.

  • Fully capable preparing written work products including PowerPoint presentations, reports, and charts documenting intelligence analysis of criminal organizations.

  • Fully capable to develop and verbally present intelligence products and analysis to other analysts and investigators

  • Fluency in the Spanish language is required.

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Full Time, shift-based work (40 hours per week) Mon-Fri.

  • Not eligible for remote work unless required and approved by the customer.
