HOW BEING A SOFTWARE DEVELOPER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

  • Customer is seeking a proficient, detail-oriented, innovative UI Developer to design websites with functionality and aesthetics in mind.

  • The UI Developer will work with Back-End Developers and Data Engineers to ensure that the website is optimized for several devices and presented in an attractive way.

  • The successful UI Developer candidate will have excellent knowledge of Java, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. In addition to this, you must be able to work well within a software development team.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

  • Experience: 10+ years

  • Technical Skills:

  • Front End Skills: Single Page Applications (ReactJS, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML), Responsive Design

  • Back End Skills: Microservices, REST, Node.js, JVM (Java - Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.), Database (Postgres, MySQL, etc.).

  • Build Tools: maven, gradle, grunt, gulp, git, tactical and strategic improvements to large scale Java/J2EE/ products,

  • Documented Experience with DevOps, CI/CD Routine

  • Documented Experience with Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS)

  • Formulates and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems

  • Translate software requirements into working and maintainable solutions within the existing application frameworks

  • Implement the product's lifecycle: Design, development, quality, deployment and maintenance

  • Develop and adhere to best-practices for developing applications

  • Continuously contribute to team performance improvement and collaboration

  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively

  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process

  • Security Clearance Level : Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph

  • Preferred Skills:

  • Front End Skills: Angular, Salesforce

  • Documented Experience with Amazon Web Services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.) Docker, Ansible.

  • Documented Experience with Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes

  • Excellent skills in RDBMS DB Schema design and SQL development

  • Location : Chantilly, VA customer site
